Not long now until I get my New Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
I have an S3 already so will be able to use this as a hot spot for the tab.
I do foresee a long time setting up all the accounts and apps so that they match the phone and my laptop.
(Soon getting a new one of them too, see posts passim, (I am prob going for the Yoga 13, thanks Pete)).
I seem to be a Samsung fanboi, as I will have 2x phones and 2x tablets and a TV all from the Korean Tech Emporium.

Nothing wrong with fanboiing the ol' Samsung tech. It's good tech. We do expect a review though.

I have the original 10.1 - it rocks!
When I first got it about a year ago - I was working somewhere else that made "tablets".. I took their tablet back and told them there's a new girl in town ...
it didn't go over very well ... as planned

I have the original 10.1 and I hate it. The Chrome browser is awful, and crashes with outstanding regularity. I wish I'd waited for an Icecream Sandwich version.

I have ICS on this one. Browser is great.

When was the upgrade out? I might just have to revisit this.

I'm with Rogers in Canada - we've had it for about 3 to 6 months now (can't remember). OTA update.
Have you tried updating it?
Is your's root'd?
Believe me - it is sweet.

That's what the cloud service is for. It's a piece of piss.

Thanks Mark, I hadn't thought of that.
See, this is why you make the big bucks and I am only an accountant who looks after them for you

The clould is ok in ways - but what people don't realize is that the data upload/download (when dealing with huge payloads) will come back in the form of additional charges for data ..... (unless you have true unlimited / no cap).
And chances are - the cloud data hovers over the USA - so that means your data is up there for ??? to see and subject to US laws....

Why on Earth would you connect through a mobile phone when you're at home or at work?
I hardly think this is the kind of task you'd perform on the road, and WiFi connections cost nothing.
