@code-witch
Are you OK? it's been nearly 24 whole hours and you haven't posted ...
(On a related note, do you check your R* social messages?)

I haven't checked in. I've been avoiding GTA because I got super frustrated with it trying to start a closed race.

I managed to get one going with Dandy - I think you have to get your mind into "R* mode" occasionally.
Are you after the prize ride this week? I'm not sure I want it but I'm up for getting you one if you do. It's the Verlierer[^]
Pleas do check your messages soonish - I sent you a Codeproject Members Crew invite yesterday.

Yes, I yanked the CP Orange background - which meant a few changes to his feet - after I slapped it on a couple of my cars and it didn't work right. The new, transparent version looks really nice on my Scramjet in Metallic Racing Green with Neon Racer livery ...

Nice. Are you using some third-party graphics mods? The lighting in your screenshots make it look a lot better than it ever has on my system (although admittedly my card's so ancient by now I don't even remember what it is...I play on pretty low settings, but at 4K).
FYI - You can post pics as part of your R* social club account...since some people are sensitive to seeing messages that aren't, let's call them, "of general interest" in the lounge...

I've got some loaded into the social account, but I have no idea who can see them ...
Mostly they are of the various delivery vehicles the game asks me to drive ... somehow, no matter what colour it starts out, somebody tries to paint it red by the time I deliver it ...
The lighting was standard to the game - I used NPC car headlights to get the right angles which took forever unless I headshot them in the right position
My graphics come courtesy of a GTX660Ti which is eleven years old!

Yeah I know how to get there, I just can never remember what the card is. My daily driver (the machine I'm currently on) is not my gaming machine.
[Edit]
I just booted it up, it's a GTX 960. I wasn't even aware the card could do 4K until I bought the 4K TV it's currently hooked up to (and shared with my main PC through a HDMI switchbox)

6 yards? That's a bit intimate.

There was a Scotsman (I forget who) who claimed that if one could find the ideal mixture between whisky and water one would live forever, and doctors and churchyards would go out of fashion.
Research is ongoing.

Why would anyone ruin good Whiskey by adding water?

I assume that the Scots were talking about cask strength (60% or more alcohol), and that the water was the pure spring water you are supposed to use to make Whisky, not the stuff you get in taps.
