All right, let's not get carried away here. This is only for eight people in the application development and support groups, they can just deal with my choices. lol
I do offer a dark theme (default) and a lite theme.

OK - Tick mark
Warning - Triangle
Error - cross (X) or "stop" sign - cross is possibly clearer.
As others have mentioned, making sure a screen reader can also work is important

I have been wanting to build this for some of our vendor applications that I can find a pulse for.
+ up / good
0 issues / marginal / out of tolerance
- down

That's phase two for this project: availability heartbeats for all the third-party services my employer uses.

I'd do checkmark = green, ! = yellow, and triangle hazard = red.
|
|
|

|
|
My choices are:
- Critical Error - A red letter X
- Warning - A yellow triangle with an exclamation point (!)
- A green checkmark for "all OK"
- A "men working" icon for busy, but no report
- A blue question mark for no status whatsoever

When I posted this thread:
Do We Have Any Aviation Fanatics Here?[^]
I was hoping there was at least someone out there who shared my fascination with aviation. Not only am I astounded to see how many of you are aviation enthusiasts, but I'm extremely glad to see that I'm not alone. What a great thread!
I'd love to see your favorite aviation-related videos. If you have a favorite photo, share that as well. Do you have a favorite aircraft? post a photo of it. I don't care if it's a bird. If it *flies, and it's one of your favorite videos or favorite photos, then share it.
*house flies, mosquitos, and moths are prohibited

It's got "Air Traffic Control" in the title. That works. Anything from SNL works, too.
That's a funny video. When I first started flight school, that's what it felt like. I've
heard it from several people - one of the most difficult things to learn are the radios.
I agree with them.

Around 1980, I was visiting Cape Canaveral, Floridaand was on a tour of the Space Launch Complex there. The tour bus driver took us to the end of the runway, parked the bus and announced that the Space Shuttle was coming in soon, piggybacked on a Boeing 747.
We waited, cameras at the ready. Soon enough the aircraft came in and I was able to take a photo.
It was years before the internet so that photo is probably in some album I can’t locate.😒
