BTW Griffs, did you consider that your post is excluding - if not offending - more than half of the human population on Earth? Only some fortunates in the southern hemisphere are having a holiday. But even if they do, it's a Summer Holiday!
My very special heartfelt Christmas and Happy New Year greetings for everyone in the CodeProject’s team and community.
May the forthcoming Happy New Year of 2018 will be overfilled with joy and peace, prosperity and fortune. I kindly appreciate all those incredible people (system administrators, moderators, and to other staff as well) in the CodeProject’s team, who has been working hard the whole year through, making the publication of all my articles possible in 2017.
This brief post is a good chance to say thank you and wish you the very-very best for the New Year of 2018.
Cheers, Arthur V. Ratz.
P.S. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Everyone!
12 months ago, on the advice of a network guy that I no longer use, I signed up for AWS "Free tier" to explore using them as a Cloud provider. After 3 months or so, we decided to go in another direction, and tried to cancel the subscription. It has been impossible to do. Today I got an email saying that the 12 month "trial" was over and they would start charging my credit card at higher rates.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to get them to cancel my account and get them to stop billing us?
My next step is to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
I will never do business with Amazon ever again at any level.
