I think the basic premise is along the lines of being an accomplice because Google has been made aware that the vendor is selling counterfeit goods. The vendor fled the jurisdiction and it selling from an undisclosed location.
Note: I said basic premise, not saying Google IS an accomplice.
Firstly, is it only Google, or are they just the biggest pockets.
Secondly, easier than picking up shop and fleeing the jurisdiction is to simply remake your website somewhat and change the domain.
If the companies criminal - wouldn't it make sense to go after them? Contempt of court and all that? That is, unless the real aim is either to test the waters for taking over the internet and/or seeing how much revenue they can extract in fines.
