It's the only town in the UK (that I know of) that follows the US pattern of streets laid out on a grid. While driving round trying to find somewhere, I eventually noticed that the street signs had grid references on them, as well as names - North/south roads are labelled Vx, where x is a number and east/west roads are labelled Hx - it took me half an hour to realise that they stand for Vertical and Horizontal, and are numbered from top to bottom, and left to right - after that, navigation was simple

Yep... I spent about $15 trying to advertise on there, before realizing it was totally pointless. Got something like 70,000 ads shown for that price, but that only generated two or three "likes" on my page.
