Working on this code base leaves me feeling so dirty. I have this irresistible urge to go home now and cleanse my soul of that crap by working on one of my own projects to exorcise the demons of ExtJS from my memory.
The Beer Prayer - Our lager, which art in barrels, hallowed be thy drink. Thy will be drunk, I will be drunk, at home as it is in the tavern. Give us this day our foamy head, and forgive us our spillage as we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not to incarceration, but deliver us from hangovers. For thine is the beer, the bitter and the lager, for ever and ever. Barmen.
I know the feeling, the flavour of Ext I work with is around 8 years old.
It's horrible the way it wraps controls in a nest of divs that is so deep it plays hell with UI testing frameworks like Cypress.

Five minute rant while I drink , why oh why is Jira being a b***h, I want to make my tests hard to get wrong (I given up on idiot proof, they evolve faster that I can keep up). I make a link one way to the web page where the XML is stored in GIT, link is perfect working . Do the same thing to access the remote 365 Excel page, link does not appear and link is shown in blue text Try googling talking to the Jira expert we have at work still no luck . I am now thinking it could be due to orfice 365 anybody any ideas...)
IIRC, orifice can be set to disable links to "executable" files. This includes any files that may contain macros, including Excel, Word, etc. files. This is done so the intellectual proletariat won't load every virus / rootkit / worm in existence into the company's network by clicking the links in their Inbox that promise that "they MAY have already won 1,000,000 Dollars!"
Try creating a .zip of the Excel file, and see if you can link to that. If you can, I think that the point is proven.
Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.
