Some friends (from the far east) were telling me how many hotels have a sign with the fruit pictured in a red circle with the red oblique line through it: bringing it in is prohibited. Smells like a litter box that's long overdue for a cleaning.
Interesting thing: harvest - these things fall to the grand from the 25m-50m high trees. Per wikipedia:Quote: Strong nylon or woven rope netting is often strung between durian trees in orchards, serving a threefold purpose: the nets aid in the collection of the mature fruits, deter ground-level scavengers, and prevent the durians from falling onto people.

I'm trying not to prejudice it, but I'd say on balance I'm starting to improve. Big relief, given I'm over 6Kg lighter than when I started, and to lose much more I'll have a arm or leg fall off ... 
I'm on anti-nausea meds (Metoclopramide) and they've been a big help - I kept a bowl of Rice Crispies down this evening, which is the most I've eaten in a week.
It's really hard to tell, this goes up and down so much - plus there's probably more Surprise Symptoms to show up yet (though I can't imagine what it hasn't thrown at us yet  )
