I was honestly quite surprised to find a lot of people referring to themselves as "software engineers". Maybe I'm just old, - okay, I AM old - but when did programmers get so full of themselves that they felt the need to rebrand their skill set in an apparent desire to sound more important than they actually are?
Back in the day (remember, I'm old), programmers considered it an insult to be called an "engieer".

Depending on the project, target. (Performance is pretty important for me right now)
and cost matters very little.
The problem is, we work for companies, and they do have costs in an altar and sacrify sheeps to get blessed with the money.
I've written software that controls machines too, but it definitely wasn't engineered.
Considering the concept I have from you... It probably was engineered, but you didn't do it on purpose / consciously
If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
