So I ordered The Avengers: Infinity War, among with some other products.
I got everything except The Avengers.
So I start a chat with the helpdesk.
I first have to confirm the item I have a question about only for them to ask me again what order and item I have a question about
Anyway, the description says it's Avengers: Infinity Way 3D, the price is that of the DVD, but I'm pretty sure I ordered the regular blu-ray (which is €1 more expensive than the DVD and about €20 less expensive than the 3D).
Tell that to the helpdesk guy, who promptly asks me what product I'm talking about.
Oh, I don't know, maybe the one that says it's Avengers: Infinity War 3D
So he asks me if I want my money back or if he should send it again.
So I ask him what he's going to send.
And he says the item I ordered.
Bitch what the hell did I order!?
The (regular?) blu-ray, apparently
I guess I should be happy that I got any help from a helpdesk at all, but I really wonder what I'll get
I can actually really enjoy kid shows.
Recently watched Steven Universe season 1 on Netflix and I really enjoyed it.
Adventure Time was really fun as well.
It's just 10-20 minutes of nonsense that leave you thinking "haha, you guys!"
Not to mention a lot of Disney and Ghibli movies!
Yes, we have BBC2 on the cable over here, but I must admit that I seldom find any programme of interest there nowadays. Years ago (when I was young, the tast of life ... oops should not do that anymore) I really liked watching the BBC, but now I feel the bitter taste of tears upon my tongue
These days, you should be happy the Amazon delivery driver didn't steal your package...

Don't know any of that, but I looked up Diana Rigg and when seeing her picture I thought "hey, she's a Bond girl!" and then I noticed she's also Olenna Tyrell from GoT
I don't know anything from Patrick Macnee, but seeing what he's played in I'm pretty sure my grandma really loves his stuff
I can't remember which Bond movie Diana Rigg was in (I even managed to find it boring with her in it - I just don't get on with Bond) but to me she will always be Mrs. Peel. Macnee, similarly, will always be John Steed.
During their co-starring period, The Avengers was one of the best shows ever made. And to make it accessible to the youth of today, they were kind enough to shoot it in colour!
Whatever you do, NEVER, EVER, EVER watch the ghastly U.S. movie version with Uma Thurman, it will put you off for life.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect. - Mark Twain
I gifted my daughter a Moving/Rolling/Jumping alarm clock as I always argued with her that she needs to be more independent in the morning. The ritual of waking her up in the morning is always " 10 mins more ,5 mins, 1 mins and 30 sec more". She uses me as her clock with verbal snooze button.
I think its my mistake that I asked her to use it during the October school break.
Today morning, I heard the alarm and then a loud thud and so went to check what happened. What I saw was a gruesome crime scene with dead remains of the Clock along with a paperback book on top of it. The clock I assume had no chance to run or roll with her clothes lying around in the floor and my kid not being a morning person.
So my biggest dilemma is should I buy a new clock or a helmet for myself.
