George Orwell, in his book 1984 (For those who do not have time to read it, here is a study guide[^]), tried to warn us about stuff like this. I do not like it. What is your opinion?

Interestingly, only on the [^] "new window" link; the main link is fine.
Which suggests Bob typed out the HTML for the link by hand, rather than relying on the auto-link-insert-on-paste script.

Samsung was caught a few years doing this and was fined for it. Of course, the fine was a pittance for them. This is one reason I use my TV as a dumb monitor only and make sure it is not connected to the internet.

I made the mistake of connecting my LG TV to the net a few years ago, just to get it to upgrade its firmware.
Problem is, it presented zero option to disconnect / forget the wifi. In the end, I changed the wifi password on the router itself so the TV failed to reconnect.
Of course that means I had to change the password to match on every device that legitimately needs it...what a pain...

Today, that is simple - just read the list of features on the box. In the near future, it will probably become a standard feature. Then, only the cheapest televisions will not have the camera and microphone built in.

And spanish has a around hundred uses for "balls" (the anatomical ones)... or if you prefer the KSS version (with a couple of expressions less) then you can use "nose" instead.
