QuestionQuestion about Windows's "Default Beep", and other sound events Pin

Wasn't sure exactly where to put this, but this seemed about the best place as it has nothing to do with programming (unless you worked on Windows, in which case…).

My question is, would it be possible to set 'Default Beep' (or any other Windows sound event) to beep the computer's internal speaker, the one that plays the POST beeps? I use a Dell Inspiron 2100 laptop, and there's no volume wheel for the speakers, so I have to use Windows's Volume Control in order to change the volume for things. However, it doesn't seem to affect the internal speaker's volume, which I find handy for certain alerts.

Anyway — any ideas? Registry hacks are welcome, if available.
