Yeah, that seemed to be what they wanted to do. I talked to a woman who gathered my info (account number, account name, my name), then she put me on hold until a guy answered. He said something like "would you mind spending a few minutes seeing if the product you chose is what best fits your needs" and I responded with something like "sure, but if you can make it as quick as possible it would be much appreciated" and 30 seconds later we were done. Had I not put in that last suggestion, I suspect he would have droned on about all their versatile solutions for modern living on the cloud.
As mentioned a few weeks back, I have been writing a VS addin to hook up to something that Sacha's been working on. There's something called a Visual Studio Command Table (which resides in a .vsct file). I've been working with that to hook commands up to various context menus - and in doing so I've banged my head against the daftness that is the VS editor model.
I can understand that different types of editor window are represented by different guid/id key value pairs, but why does the .cshtml editor use two different editors in the same window? I kid you not - it does.
Anyhoo - with the judicious use of the vsct file, the same menu items appear in lots and lots of different menu locations. Tomorrow night I start writing my parts of the article to go with the stuff that Sacha's writing - I promise you that it's pretty cool.
Once that's all over, I can get back to my Windows Phone series of articles.

I feel sorry for new car sales persons. They always give the spiel about how their bonus is tied to the survey. And how, if I don't mark it all as perfect 5's they lose the entire quarter bonus. Eh, I always answer the survey's honestly.
