People tend to make comments in code (and other areas) where they don't think anyone will ever see them. That is not always the case. At one of my previous jobs we flew to Chicago to look at a system to do monitoring for us. While we were there and taking the 'Grand tour' we noticed one of the techs had a screen up and had put some 'inappropriate' comments about one of their customers. As it turned out that customer had a close working partnership with my company. The end result was they lost both our business and that of our partner. At the time it was several million $ per year. IMHO - don't put anything in comments you would not say out loud to a group of people.
So my stereo broke down a couple of months ago. I've had it since I was something like ten years old I think.
I only listened to it in the morning since it was my wake-up alarm.
So anyway, it broke down, I couldn't open the cd tray, cd's wouldn't switch, play, display just gave flashy light, and no matter what I tried no sound came from it.
I was bummed, but it had served its purpose for about 15 years... And will do so again!
My dad was in my room for just a few minutes and I mentioned I'd like my cd's back (there were still three in it!).
He looked at it for a few seconds and somehow everything worked again! My dad is the best!
Or maybe I'm just not very good at fixing stuff...
