I gave my laptop to a friend yesterday who wanted to use it to quickly type a document. I got back home and wanted to find a document from my 'Downloads' folder and oops! I can't find it. Checked the recycle bin and it's not there. Wow! It was panic, I searched everywhere for files in that same folder and Windows can't find em and I was really pissed. Today, bored and wanting to see a movie, Right clicking on VLC[^] from the taskbar where I had pinned it, I saw the filename of a file supposedly in the 'Downloads' folder, curious, I clicked on it and amazingly, the file played. What!? I asked myself. I then asked VLC[^] to show the file in the containing folder and oops, it's in a different folder, he has probably moved it by mistake trying to get a hang of the mouse. But the thing is, how did VLC[^] find my file even when I had moved it out of the original folder? That I am working on, saved my ass though, I was already starting to rebuild my search index which is taking forever.

My dyslexia kicked in and I thought it read: "Marc Clifton arrested" and immediately began to wonder what the hell he could possibly do...oh wait a minute there was that Chocolate Cake incident not long ago?
A friend of mine back in the college days said that he thought that as a computer programmer, one would either go blind from staring at the screen all day, or develop carpal tunnel. Maybe he should've added dyslexia to the list. It seems my dyslexia is getting more pronounced year after year, and it is funny that a 6 pack of beer is a remedy for it
