Truthfully, I started before I was doing dev work; I was working at some soulless monstrosity of a 'software' company doing tech support, they were going to pay for it, and it was pretty much the only way I was getting off the phones full-time. However, right before I started, I got a dev job at a start-up (that didn't pay for it...), so I figured I was already in and registered, so just stick it out.
A new app from NASA lets players design and model a deep space communications network, and/or a near-Earth network for command and control of multiple space platforms. It can be played online, or downloaded for separate play[^]. Looks like more fun than super-netting the office LAN with Page3!
Is that the kind of game that if I "win" I will be teleported on a spaceship and be part of an expeditionary team to go an an undisclosed location to walk through a stabilized worm-hole held in place by a big ring called a Stargate ?
