Completely agree with your points. But I would think that this technology would also cause leaps and bounds of breakthroughs on such problems.

I guess I tried to elude to that with my "automation" remark, but I did breeze over what that means. Essentially the process of transplanting would have to be perfected (or near perfection) for it to be automated. While the length of usefulness may still be in the years (vs. decades), after enough data mining this barrier could potentially be broken as well.

Then again, I am by no means a biologist. Although, one time I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express Poke tongue | ;-P
