Yeah. I tried to figure out why I could not load maps that were saved, and quickly found a lot of code that is so convoluted it actually confused the Visual Studio debugger, which gave a message that said that it could not jump to the statement that threw an exception.
Why do some authors/publishers make it sooo bloody difficult to buy their books, I like some of Scalzi's books but I spent months trying to purchase the 3rd book in the Old Mans War series as an ebook, I eventually pirated the bloody thing in disgust. I had to do the same thing for Neal Ashers Spatterjay series although I did try and pay for them on his fan site.
Thanks for that link, now to see if its possible to buy the book.

I'm a developer but there are no links for developers, this seems like it is also only for end-users that like to make their boring lives seem compelling. Really, what use is such a revolutionary product if you can't develop and app for it or get any specifications whatsoever without digging through thousands of layers of social media bs?
Second, and well, this one sucks, I have amblyopia of the right-eye, thus I can't use the glasses anyway. Only people with right-eye vision can, if the pictures are true. Words and descriptions about products are so twentieth century.
Check the g+ stream for google project glass. It states that any recipients of the "Development Kit" must hand pick it up in California.
Well something along those lines.

Hmmm... By your link it seems "most" are actually right dominant. I.e. they got the way it should be for a alpha product.
I know a lot of lefties but ya know what... None of them had issues using the mouse when it came out. And to this day I have yet to meet someone that swaps the button config on them and places it on the left side of the computer. Same idea. If it ends up actually being an issue they would likely spend money on producing for left dominance. However I highly doubt it will be the case. Most people don't even acknowledge that one of their eyes is dominant over the other, yet most do so with hands. However, this is not an issue with most periphials... See my point?
Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet.

Indeed please spend a shitload of cash to tell us how crap the first run of devices are. Really? If you're that confident about your product, give them away to garner interest; but I suppose people are stupid enough to give them money to test it for them.

I like the way it only shows people doing aspirational or creative things.
I find the whole site hateful, the "How to Get one" section is particularly depressing: "We’re looking for bold, creative individuals who want to join us and be a part of shaping the future of Glass." being the first salvo in what is obviously a ploy to generate marketing-worthy bullshit material. Doubtless in due course we'll be inflicted with recordings of "ordinary" people doing "inspirational" stuff that wouldn't have happened without Glass.
