I remember back in the dim & distant past that I had a Hillman Imp that blew head gaskets regularly - a problem for which they were well - and deservedly - renowned.
On one of the many blown head gasket occasions, it being a Saturday and out of reach of a suitable replacement, the blown gasket was replaced with Cornflake packets, using the dead gasket as a template, combined with copious amounts of Hermetite Red.
It lasted for 2 weeks, which was about on a par with the more conventional head gaskets I'd used...
Hey there guys! I'd love some input from the community and any opinions on code hosting services. Our trusty old in-house server, which ran a local subversion server (among other things) just died this week, and we're thinking of moving to a hosted service. There are many comparison websites out there, but I'd prefer input from someone with first-hand experience with these services (reliability, security, suppport...)
I've been looking at Assembla, BeanStalk, ProjectLocker and a few others. Anyone here using such service? Or do you prefer keeping the sources on a dedicated server you have control of? Thanks!
Thanks! I forgot to mention that we need to stay with SVN for now, Git support is nice if we decide to move in that direction in the future, but the SVN requirement is critical right now. The TFS service looks nice, will bookmark it for reference.
Public Health Officials say the corpse wasn't a problem: Body Of Water[^] If a child poops in the local swimming pool the entire pool has to be emptied of occupants but if you put a freakin' corpse in a hotel water supply for two weeks there isn't a problem - according to the tests.
Sorry, I don't believe a single word any government official says as someone is on the payroll here or there is backroom shennanigins designed to save an insurance company from lawsuits or something. This makes absolutely no sense when compared with all other warnings we've received in the past. They are liars and thieves, every one of them.
