"And what was your reaction ?" - I patiently explained the concept of the desktop being the first screen they see when they turn on their computer, then I had a bit of a laugh with colleagues.
Having grown up in the 70's with the commonly accepted idea that everyone would one day be computer literate, whatever that means, in my interpretation has not yet been realised - which has its positive side as it keeps me in a job

Yay! I got three thousand large rifle primers today, as promised by American Express.
I ordered these a long time ago, and the website said "less than 5 boxes available." I ordered 3 boxes of 1000, since no store or website anywhere else has a single primer in stock, and no one could say when they might have new stock. The next morning the website said "Out of Stock" and there it's remained all these weeks, so I figured they counted inventory wrong and my order would not be filled. But now it seems I got the last 3,000 primers on the planet, or at least within the CONUS.
Now, if anyone has a thousand small pistol primers handy, I'd consider a swap for a thousand of rifle.
My second digital camera was a Nikon CoolPix, and it's still an awesome little beast. Much better low light performance than my expensive DSLR, and far easier to use. All that you're giving up is the ability to swap lenses and stack filters, but having had a DSLR for several years, I find it difficult to remember the last time I really needed to do either. Just do it... and have a great trip!
I don't know what its replacement is but the Panasonic DMC-FX12 has been excellent for us, it's a few years old and still takes good pictures, decent movies etc.
Assuming Panasonic have maintained the quality over the last 5 (I'm guessing) years then I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZX1, had this for 3+ years now, and it just works! small and compact, stardard SD memory card and had no issues with it. Whether it was in the various lighting conditions of Disney Florida, the Ski mountains in Flaine, the low light levels in offshore modules, it has been just fine.
There are newer versions of it now. If mine was to eventually die, I would probably go with the another one.
I really liked that movie, primarily because of the stunning performance of Delphine Chaneac as "Dren," the adult mutoid. Adrien Brody I consider a walking disaster as an actor. I thought the screenplay plot twists, with overtones of incest, were well-written.

I love these flavored 'mints'. My mom does as well, and ate 3 full containers of them before I confiscated the rest and hid them somewhere else (there were a total of 300 containers, we found 20-Packs for $2.00 at Wallmart).
Do you guys like these little, tasty (IMO) 'mints'?
None of those flavors sound good mixed with mint except coffee. One of the chocolate makers has a dark chocolate with some hot pepper (not jalapeno) in it that's quite good. I'll pass on the mustard ice cream, I like both but not together.
I often make very large prints from unexposed film, and every one of them turns out to be a picture of myself as I once dreamed I would be.
