I don't know if they have any animals at Marie Antoinette's little "show farm" (L’Hameau de la Reine) but they used to - if your daughter is young then it should provide a welcome distraction for her!
The universe is composed of electrons, neutrons, protons and......morons. (ThePhantomUpvoter)
So what do you normally do at home, sit around with your thumb up your bum! Exercise that thing called your imagination, go do something you normally wouldn't, walk along the Seine, get one of those bike things and figure out how to use it.
Catch a train or hire a car, get your lazy arse out of there!
Never underestimate the power of human stupidity
Actually I lost a fair bit of weight here already just form walking to work, plus I can control my diet better away from home where my wifes predeliction for chocolate leaves too much temptation lying around.
Got back from the skiing holiday yesterday afternoon.
My legs are well wrecked, it was relatively good weather, although the 2 days of heavy snow made it 'entertaining'. An afternoon of messing about in deep powder finding anything to jump off certainly takes its toll on all the muscles.
Apart from the lunchtime and evening food and drink sessions, I think the most fun was playing ski limbo with the 'Danger' signs on the pistes. i.e. ski towards them, then lie down with your back on the snow and continue to ski under them, pop out the other side and pull yourself back upright again (good for the stomach muscles!). I had my GoPro on my head at the time and need to get the videos up onto the Youtube. Considering the bottom of the signs were level with my knees I'm surprised we didn't end up taking the signs down the hill with us!
So, its back to reality again. Lazy day today. Car needs a good clean, but seeing as I'm driving down south again Tuesday, doesn't seem worth it.
Friday morning brings the arrival of my new broadband, switching to BT Infinity 2 FTTC from standard broadband. Hope to see a significant improvement in speeds!.
Thursday afternoon I have the Intel interview for the feature they are doing, no idea what to expect, so just have to wait and see! Shouldn't take more than an hour they said, Group interview over Skype they said ==> #BrickingIt
Before I know it, it will be the weekend again.
Think I'm going to go and steal the kids easter eggs. They are having a PJ day today. Although, think we are going out this evening for dinner with the group we were on holiday with tonight and am sure that will convince them out of their PJs.
We thought our friends son had broken his nose after he faceplanted the snow in a forward somersault after catching an edge on his snow board, but he only grazed his forehead, scratched and bruised his nose. When he faceplanted his goggles were squashed into his face. Expected him to wake up the next morning with massive black eyes, but alas not....
