I was on the original HyperCard team (internal code name: WildCard), was founder / president of the Apple International HyperCard Users Group, formally sponsored by Apple and known as "iHUG", which would make it the *FIRST-EVER* program/product by Apple with the lower-"i" moniker {so, yes, what I am implying is that I did start the iThis / iThat craziness; quite befitting my character, if I do say so, myself!}, and I invented the Internet (oh, wait, Gore did that...my bad Poke tongue | ;-P )

HOWEVER, HyperTalk (the programming language for HyperCard) and AppleScript are *NOT* the same languages, though they share similarities like C++ and C#.

What might I be able to help you with?

--------

Oh, yeah, I also created the first-every inter-Mac HyperCard Stack co-linked/sync'd animation being "animated" between 10 Mac Classic II's (code-named Apollo) stacked vertically at the-then Oct, 1991 Comdex Tradeshow (the Mac Quadra series also came out then).

The animation was an Apollo rocket blasting off, with the different sections "falling back" (through each Mac) to earth, then stars (to simulate space), then the capsule coming back down to earth, complete with a full parachute deploy and a complete splashdown into the Apple Logo.
The product's code name, well, the letters on each screen, dissolved into view as the capsule descended, were:

C
L
A
S
S
I
C
II
{Apple-Logo}

Received "Best of Show" for product intro presentation.

I scripted this via both HyperTalk and AppleScript.

And, yes, the animation was sync'd between each Mac as the rocket went up and the capsule came down, as if it were one tall screen.

(Forgot to add that I didn't have the 10-Mac tower to program with. I had to program with them all on their sides on a long horizontal bench. Oooo, the neck pains turning my head sideways 90-degrees so much. Then, 3 hours before I shipped the units out, a co-worker seys, "Why didn't you stack them 1x4x4x1?" OMG | :OMG: DOH! D'Oh! | :doh:
