Since IE11 I switched back (to IE)
But I have one remaining issue...
From chrome I can drag an URL into a folder and voila, I got a link on disk!
From IE(11) I drag an URL to a folder and... I got some link vaguely related to the URL, but NOT the URL!
This is particularly frustrating with CodeProject! I want to save the article URL in the folder where I download the source, but I have to copy the URL, paste in Chrome, drag the URL from Chrome, so tedious..
Any idea on how to improve this workflow?
I see what you mean...just a shortcut, no URL, not even in the properties although the URL does show up on hover. So, just let the shortcut do it's job. Clicking it still gets you where you want to go right?...and you get the nice favicon graphic to boot!
