To a certain extent. When I lived in Mexico for a few years I noticed that the females did not care about being fat or not. For example, they'd still wear clothes that normally only a skinny or slender female would wear. They, and not just the females, do not seem to care about body weight and image as much as some do in the US.
Everyone is born right handed. Only the strongest overcome it.
