I thought given the price Mercedes sells its cars for, it was to ensure you'd never have to work on them yourself.
And if saving money was a goal, how is Mercedes even a contender?

I didn't work on it myself, but I had to find a mechanic that could fix it in a little town - hard enough as it was, and every part had to be ordered online which made the whole process take longer.
I wasn't trying to save money. I originally bought it to convert it to run on waste vegetable oil (it was a diesel) but I ran into too many problems with the car and got rid of it. It was just too much of a pain to get it worked on.

The trim fasteners on my mercs have all been reusable as well - I fitted reversing cameras and dashcams and I hate visible trailing wires.
Some of them benefit from a special tool to "pull the centre" but my trim kit includes a plastic one which just about does it without damaging things.

I know that I am not PC on this. Nevertheless: I see a significant agile problem here.
Before agile, we made thorough analyses of needed functionality. We structured it out in well designed functional modules, maybe implemented in the core, maybe specified as something to come as a future extension.
Today, we code and compile "int main(int argc, char** argv) {return 0;}" before even asking what the problem is. Only after that: "Let's take it from here! What was your problem, again?"
Lots of the Internet protocols are mislabeled: They are called Simple this-and-that. They should be labeled Too simple this-and-that! SMTP is a nightmare example of that. The number of functional warts grown on SMTP can give anyone shivers.
But with "agile" as the modern gospel, "solutions" like SMTP has come out as an ideal - as an architectural and functional mess, but created according to agile ideals: Whenever some need arises, let's grow another wart to fix it!
Contrary to common belief, 'agile' is in fundamental conflict with KISS, in the long term. Because KISS requires you to consider from an eagle perspective what you need. Growing agile warts, whether you do it at the implementation level or at the standard definition level, is for all practical purposes impossible to realize within an agile framework.

From what little I read, it does seem complicated. I can see studio players, composers, and audio engineers grooving on a lot of the capabilities. I'm curious as to how much influence actual performance musicians have in this situation.

I suppose that's why they chose spell the spelling for their a lady clergy NUN - just to avoid mistakes (I won't make a habit of this).
Probably also why Catholics gave up on ritual circumcision . . . remove the "wrong" part became a problem. And leads directly to:

Most recently, I spoke to my banking provider. I needed his help in changing the card limit. The chatbot helped me a lot, but it blocked my card at the end of the conversation. I think it happened because it didn't recognize my command. But it turns out that instead of helping, I unblocked the card for another 20 minutes. So I began to think about how long it will be released software with bugs that are not tested beforehand. And I also wondered if AI could change the financial sector for the better?
