Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah meet each other in a four cornered point. A marker lies on the site on a road a few miles from US highway 160.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Corners_Monument[^] for more information.

Another nice chance to mention that englands last victory was 1966 and that even wasn't a 'real' goal....

I still give thanks to that Russian linesman...

You shouldn't! Since that day the english national football team seems to be cursed...
|
|
|
|
|
I think the curse extends beyond football...
We're having a summer of sporting woe here...
The football team has just been kicked out of the world cup...
The rugby team was slaughtered (twice) by Australia...
The cricket team has lost a home series to Sri Lanka...
No british players are left in at Wimbledon...
And worst of all, it's looking like a Germany vs France world cup final...

Wow...
Definitely not the year of the island then... I however will spend tonight at a pub supporting our national football team
Better luck next time...

good luck tonight - the way the Italians have been playing, they don't deserve to get to the final.

Thanks!
The atmosphere hopefully will be good one way or the other. So far everything has been fine...

Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow wilson. Jimmy Carter won one later, when he was no longer prez.
I know Jimmy's was for peace. I bet the other 2 were for peace, too. I don't see either Teddy or Woodrow as Rocket Scientists (Nobel for physics)
Have a great day!

I think Wilson got one for setting up the league of nations. I'm not sure what Roosevelt got one for?
