So, from here on out, i'm abandoning my "vote up messages i really like, vote down slop" policy, and moving to a "vote up messages i want to read, vote down messages i don't" mode of operation. A subtle difference, but an important one - AFAIK, this is closer to how the voting system was intended to be used, and by throwing in with the lot that use it this way, i do my small part to help make it useful: by driving down topics that have played out or are otherwise unwanted, it becomes easier to pick out fresh and interesting topics. Maybe.
If nothing else, it gives me something to do...

Well, i'm living in Colorado now, Pueblo to be specific. In truth, i've been living here a while - what's new is that now my employer knows about it. After a good deal of hassle and rejection, The Powers That Be have approved me to work from the office here instead of the one in La Crosse.
So i can think a little bit less about having to look for a new job now...

Well, despite professing a desire for peace and solitude, i've made my life rather hectic, and there's no end in site. Turns out, i'm moving, getting married, and trying to learn the secret to cooking good biscuits and gravy, all at the same time. So time available for posting new articles (or even updating existing ones), answering forum questions, and general bullshitting with Odd Online Personalities tends to be rather limited.
See y'all on the other side...

Pardon the delay, this takes a bit to pull off...
More because i think it would be useful if CP had enough of its formatting in CSS (so doing this on an individual basis would be trivial), than because i think it should be any other color...

That would be the author of this post, as of this past July. There is presently quite a bit more hair on his head, it being a chilly Wisconsin Fall Autumn now...
