Hi, does anyone know how to disable blue screen error in Windows XP? I mean if windows cause a problem and will display blue screen error, its will ignore this and operate as normal.

You can't disable it. You can prevent XP from restarting though.
The reason you're getting the Blue Screen is because the kernel cannot get back to a "normal" state. Something went seriously wrong and caused the kernel to panic. It halts the system to prevent system instability from corrupting existing data.

Dear all,
I have HP pavilion laptop, running XP SP3, the problem started like this, after normal opeartion on the laptop i turned it off, the other day wana turned on, after the welcome screen a window pops up:
logonui.exe - Application error. the instruction at "oxxx5ft0664" referenced memory at "0x005ft0664". The memory could not be "written". with OK and CANCEL buttons. after many clicks on the OK or CANCEL buttons, the window disappears and the laptop shows only the desktop background without any icons, any toolbar without any thing.
Try the Alt+Ctrl+Del, it says the taskmanager is disabled.
I googled, most results defines this file, but no result on how to solve the prob.
Any help guys, URGENT.

I beleive this is the link for the second search result: This, the point is first i cant logon with any account to create another profile, second i cant boot in safe mode ill stick in a loop, third i did a Memory test sounds the RAM are ok. neither the less i dont have the XP SP3 CD to do a repair.
Since yesterday am not lucky with a solution, think of backing up data and a format then Vista installation.

No, I was referring to this website[^]. The third or fourth post down deal with how to do a repair installation of Windows using any XP-CD.
If you don't have an XP-CD, you're out of luck.

Hi, I have install adobe acrobat on my computer which is already have some adobe acrobat document. Once I have install successfully, when I try to open the file, windows display the dialog to open the file with and I select acrobat. The document was open successfully but the problem is, it is not remember an application to open PDF file. Once I double click on the file again, its still asked me to open the file with dialogbox. I don't know what is the cause of the problem. Could anyone let me know what is the cause of the problem and how to fix it?

The file type didn't get registered during the installation.
So either you uninstall and reinstall the program (there might be other errors after all),
or you register the filetype manually.
For WinXP, start explorer.exe and select folder options from the tools menu, then select the filetypes tab.
Here you can add, remove or change the filetypes and what programs to use for different actions.

One thing that I forget to tell you. Open I open the PDF file, I already select on the check box Always open the select program to opne this type of file. But the file still not remember to open with adobe acrobat file. Thank

I've seen that happen, too. The registry is probably a little confused and needs a good spanking with a wrench or tyre-iron (read: Remove all PDF-related entries, then reinstall).

I've finally managed to set up a proper infrastructure and VPN finally works (yay!)
One small teeny-weeny problem that I'm sure a more experienced user will be able to answer instantly.
I have the ISA server Dial up preferences specified, and it is set for automatic dialing in addition to having checked that this connection is the default gateway.
I've set the account details.
ISA however decidedly will not dial the connection, I have to do this manually. How do I deal with this in such a manner that will yield ISA to my will?
Also, the account required, would that be an account on the domain or the account with the ISP?

Last I checked, VMWare does have limited USB 1.1 support in their virtual machine.
