I am connectin Mysql in vb.net2008 on vista then its give error(Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts.) but whene i conectthis on xp os then its excute .... {}

I suggest you stop swallowing exceptions like that. Add Console.WriteLine(ex.ToString()); or something similar and see what it tells you.

Do you have a MySQL server running on your Vista machine, with the same configuration and databases? At least your connection string says server=localhost. If it is on the XP machine only, you have to replace the name here, and you will likely have to some configuration on the server to allow connections from other computers. The Exception thrown will give you more details.

It could also be a firewall problem if the Windows Firewall blocks incoming requests on port 3306 (default port for MySQL services).

I see 1 posibility that spring to my mind.
- MySql Connector is not installed on your Vista.

I am make a report to display info about students but i have a record with each student with declare registration date of each student ,
My Question ? I am Display all info for students in report but i want to display the first value of date of first record and the last date of registered student to know the range (ex. From : 1/1/2010 to 1/2/2011) in the same report to be displayed in the header of the report ?
I want to know the steps ?

You do not state whether your database is Access, SQL Server, MySql, Oracle or whatever.

Don't expect to be spoon-fed.
You now have enough information to formulate a suitable search phrase for an internet search.
You know that your database is SQLServer, because it's your database
You know that you are dealing with date data, because it's your data
You know that one way to solve your problem is by use of the Min and Max SQL Functions, because I gave you that information in the link I provided earlier.
All you have to do now is to use your brain and rearrange the emboldened words into a phrase useable with an internet search engine.

Did you look at minimum/maximum in the summary totals field?
You should be able to define two summary total fields there (Min and Max) and place them in the header or footer section of the report.

It is very unlikely that anyone will have this ready to hand you a ready made solution. Try doing some research for yourself (Google is a great tool) and come back when you have a more specific problem to resolve.

Hi Everybody,
I have developed A Desktop Application in VS 2008. In This One Facility Is Provided To Scan The Document. Firstly It Was Working Fine , But Now A Days I Am Getting The Error a generic error occurred in gdi+ While Saving The File. I Have Set All The Permission To The File Where The Scanned Image Is Saved.
I AM Unable To Resolve The Problem. Please Help Me To Solve My Problem.

Without seeing the code where the error occurs, we're just guessing at this.
But, from your vague description, it sounds like you loaded a file using the FromFile method of a Bitmap object and now are trying to save that same file to it's original filename. This doesn't work because the file is locked open for the entire lifetime of the Bitmap object.
To get around this, you open the file using a FileStream object, then pass that stream to the contructor of your bitmap object, then close the file. This prevents the file from being locked and will allow you to dave the new image back to the original filename.

Hello,
I'm working with windows media player inside a C# winform application.
I couldn't find a good and simple example for working with playlist.
I'll be glad to get some help or an example.
I want to create a playlist from a list of songs name and then give it to the player so it will play them in repet.
(I tried to do it alone with a list of songs and an index but it ddin't work like I thought. The player have to much statuses that he jump between).
