What do we do when an article clearly isn't? OriginalGriff4-Oct-12 3:39 OriginalGriff 4-Oct-12 3:39  This one http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/ArticleVersion.aspx?waid=19135&aid=404094[^] has appeared on the list of updated-for-aproval, but that's not a article! It's only 4 lines of active "code", and all of them are just variant date time format strings. Surely, this is at best a tip? Is there really no mechanism for saying "This should not have been approved"? I didn't even like it as the Tip/Trick it was initially posted as. I would be curious to see who approved this as an article myself. I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore. This is definitely one that falls in a grey area. The issue is that the two accounts below are answering questions with links to this guy's commercial products and CP articles. The reason I mention the article links is that the language and syntax of the answers appear that they are the same person and likely the same person as this original main account. This original account is also spamming as there are links to his commercial products in the articles, but the articles are not in the 3rd party sections. http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/View.aspx?mid=8921107[^] is promoting a commercial product in all his answers. I believe Lacy00[^] is another sock puppet with a published tip[^]. This tip is in the 3rd Party Products section, so should be fine on its own. I became aware of this profile when I saw this message[^], which is a reply to the other sock puppet's (pandaloveu) message and looks very much like Solution 1[^] by Miracle524. This whole thing looks quite elaborate with very active sock puppets posting several messages, Questions and Answers.
