Who will win 2nd Test - India vs England (23 Nov - 27 Nov) at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
As English had promised that they will turn back for a good game. So do you think it is hard to win this test match for India..
hmm..!!...i think India didn't win comprehensively against ENG in last test match...considering the fact that...India was in a better position than this.. ...Cook n prior impressed a lot..!!...it will be a tough task for both the teams...!!...BUT SURELY INDIA HAS THE EDGE WITH ONE WIN IN HAND..!!
On Friday Mr Ramesh had said, "I think toilets are more important than temples. No matter how many temples we go, we are not going to get salvation. We need to give priority to the toilets and cleanliness."
The master of the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which; he simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.
1. This is *our* problem, and the solution should come from within us. If all of us decide to follow the road rules, this will happen. Although, I don't see it happening anytime soon. The only way to achieve this will be to impose hefty fines and/or jail term on those who break traffic rules.
3. Excessive availability of man power. That's the problem. However, I don't really know why will our people be selective with showing their respect towards others. That has something to do with attitude.
I've not been posting a lot on CP the last couple of years, though I still read the Lounge and GIT (I was never very active in the GIT to begin with). It seems content has dried up in the last few weeks, has anybody else noticed this?
Gone are the days when a cricket match would feature nearly over-by-over updates. Now there's an entire day of Test cricket gone (what's more, with India on top) with no new threads - is everybody watching the game instead of posting about it?
Or did everybody just get A Life?
"We have already been through this, I am not going to repeat myself." - fat_boy, in a global warming thread
There were 3-4 core people who were extremely active during cricket season. Their intense posting lead to a chain reaction where dozens of others would post on those threads too. I think what's missing now are those central figures - they've either moved on from this forum or are otherwise busy with their lives.
Wouldn't bank on it, the two men that are in at the moment are the only two that will give resistance and you have Yuvaraj to get KP out so you don't need to worry about getting Cook, just concentrate on the other end.
There's a slim chance that Prior or Bell might give you problems but I doubt it. So although physically the game may go into the fourth day I think it will basically be over as a contest by the end of the 3rd, just a case of mopping up the tail-enders on the 4th morning.
Kinda funny though. Get a green pitch in England and your team beats us 4-0. Get a turning pitch in India and it seems we can beat you fairly easily. I wonder how the teams will fare on some kind of in-between wicket. That'll be a true test of each team's players.
Hold your horses you haven't beat us 4-0 yet! I think the 4-0 in England wouldn't happen if you played us now(in England), at the time so many of our Batsmen were in form that we were always going to score heavily, since then a lot of the players have lost form, Strauss has gone and also Morgan, the top 7 is nowhere near as strong. Also losing Khan early did for you, it would be the equivalent of us losing Swann for this series.
I take your point though about the teams being suited to different wickets, but our poorness on turning wickets is a lot worse than your poorness on green wickets. This will probably be proven by you getting an Innings defeat in the first match. It took us till the 3rd Test to dent your confidence enough to achieve that.
I've been anticipating this series for awhile now and all I hope is we get a good well fought battle from both sides. Hopefully it will be close and can live up to and maybe even surpass the current SA v Aus series in terms of entertainment.
I'm going for a 2-2 draw, Any other predictions?
