I need to display 8 roads video at the same time.
But I find that the DrawDibDraw is too slow, it need 16ms to draw one frame data.
it nearly cannot be accepted.
Then I try to use the directdraw to draw the YUV data to windows, but I cannot get a right answer after google half a day. Is there some one know how to draw the YUV or RGB data to a form using the directdraw? thanks.
Who's got experience with this class then? Examples and documentation seem pitifully thin on the ground.
I'm just playing with it to see if it's the right control for a new development.
At the moment I'm wondering how to add a button to a property. The doc suggests overloading the protected "HasButton" function
"Indicates whether a property contains a button." says MSDN
So I don't know if I'll get a button by overloading this and returning TRUE because my overloaded function never gets called; other protectesd functions that don;t ever seem to be called are Init, CreateCombo or IsValueChanged
maybe I'm contructing my CMFCPropertyGridProperty wrong?
i have a appilcation consists of thousands lines of code. when i do some specific operation, i.e. open a very large document, the app almost eats up my memory. but after a while, the memory is given back. i have tested the codes and found no memory leak.
so, my problem is how to find the codes who eat up my memory.
any one can help me?
First, when you do a malloc or new, you extend the heap. For optimization reasons, the memory manager may not return the heap back to the OS immediately. When needing to allocate especially large chunks of memory, you can use a low level API directly or, with some compilers/CRTs, a different heap (for Windows, here's an article discussion various options: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa366533%28v=vs.85%29.aspx[^].)
Also note that if you allocate memory and sit around, the OS may page it out. To understand the difference in Windows, look into "private bytes" and "working set".
I have a pretty large and old application where the user can select the current customer from a combobox. However, the number of customers have grown (>100) to the point where the users think that selecting a customer from the list is awkward.
Does anyone have a good suggestion for a replacement for a CComboBox? The droplist portion should be a multilevel menu or a tree or similar ... I have seen several attempts here and in other places, but they all seem pretty experimental (non-standard UI behaviour, hardcoded drawing functions not utlizing themes, and so on).
You could use the same idea that a lot of websites use, in that they build their lists dynamically as the user types into them. So if the user starts typing a you just load all the customer names from that sub group. Here are some CodeProject articles[^] that discuss the issue.
One of these days I'm going to think of a really clever signature.
Thanks for the input, using some kind of incremental search could be an option.
However, my query was for a custom control with similar functionality as a CComboBox, but where the list box (the dropdown part) is replaced with a tree control or a menu with submenus. There's several examples here at codeproject, but I don't find any of them really cut for the job. It seemed like a pretty common problem, so there should definitely be someone out there having solved it.
In c language you can check wether the language is in lower case or upper case by using their ASCII value.
ie, for "A" ASCII value is 65. for "a" ASCII is 97. by directly checking this condition you can ensure character is small letter or capital letter.
to convert you can use
I am working on a project in which we can capture a video, save it in avi format. We are using Microsoft Directx for the same.
Now I want to increase the quality of the video similar to the HD mode. Is It possible using C++/VC++/MFC.?
Is it possible that we can capture a video with high quality or after capturing/saving the video, play the same in HD mode.?
Please let me know if the above discussion is ambiguous.
This program must accept as input from the user a value between 0 and 255 to be used as the
secret key, the name of the input file and the name of the output file. No line in the input file
should contain more than 4096 characters.
After the user would have provided their secret key, this program should read and perform an
XOR cipher on the contents of the input file and write the result to the output file.
If the input file has already been encrypted and the identical secret key that was used to
perform the initial encryption is provided, then the contents of the output file should be
deciphered into its original plain text.
can you please provide me with the algorithm on how to go about doing this work.
