with help of coding it is possible with out any data base
If you plan to translate by your own, you would need database! If you want the conversion without too much of an effort, you can try a 3rd party translation service where you pass on the English words and get back the translated value. Google translate could be of help to start with.
I want to support multiple languages in my web application, here are few queries that I have
1) Do I need to install the fonts for those languages?
2) Using resource file will help me to change the images and text on the page for that language.
3) Is the Operating system involved anywhere in this process, e.g. if my application is being accessed by a person in China with a Chinese OS installed on his machine, will it affect?
Expecting your expert comments on the above.
Thanks & Regards,

I don't consider an expert myself, but I have some comments
1. Install WHERE? If you use web fonts or similar technique to display text on your site then yes, you need to have the fonts that support your languages. If you use one of standard fonts, then users have to have it installed on their machines.
2. Yes, resource files will help you but it is nowhere near the out-of-the box feature. Plan ahead and don't hardcode anything that can be different in other languages.
3. It depends. Not strictly the OS, but regional settings on user machine. Keep in mind that many elements may display differently especially if you what to parse user input. For example decimal separator may be '.'(dot) or ','(comma), currency symbol may be before or after amount and date formats are pure wild

in my opinion ajax is good and safe control and easy to use but if u want to have more graphical effect u can use nivoo slider it's free and fast.
I have lot's of test with the 3 top of slider that are usual: 1.ajax ,2.nivoo ,3.wowslider
the result is nivoo slider won.
Most here on the CodeProject write their own programs for everything, such as slideshows, few purchase anything for use.
You can then make it more complex by adding something to store various image file locations, such as a xml file, and rotate through the record elements.
I had some slide show code from a project I had to upgrade, in which the slideshow was the only thing that worked. Actually now that I think about it, I had to fix that as well, was poorly written. Requires JQuery 1.8.2. I don't have the CSS for it anymore.
I think this had a container called slider_Container, and 4 div tags inside it, in which in moved the div inside the container. It's written in Jquery, and will not work with an update panel on the page, because you have to edit the file below to handle the UP events when they fire.
Best thing would be to have the data in a database, because it would be miliseconds to retrieve the data.
More practically, I would look into building a Progress bar which could show that activity is actually happening. Most users are fine with 3 to 5 second response time as long as they know that something is actually happening.
Thanks for the Response.
I do have a progress bar which greys out the screen while loading...I know 3 or 4 secs for loading data is not a big deal......Actually, the same files are read by a vb program and charts are displayed automatically when a file is updated.
Having data in the database is a overhead as the data is updated in the files every 1 minute during the peak hours and each file has 520 rows * 13 columns of data.
Hmmm. Maybe you should try to break down the problem into its pieces to determine where to make your improvement.
For example, determine how many miliseconds for each part of the process ...
1) read file
2) analyze data
3) draw graphs
4) present results to user
I'm not exactly sure how to capture each one of those statistics because I don't fully understand your application, but you get the idea. Determine which piece of the puzzle is taking the longest and then the folks here can offer you ideas on how to make it better.
Some other points of interest to post would be:
a) what version of IIS are you using
b) what browser is your client using
c) what kind of network connection is between your webserver and client (LAN/WAN), (10/100/1000) MB per second.
d) maybe a simple ping test from the client machine to the webserver could provide insight to a slow network
Good luck. Keep us posted of your progress and solution.
I'm sending mail to newly register Users in html format(Asp.net C#). It works fine but sometimes Some Unwanted html code(that dose not exist in my webpage) showing after mail body even mail content is correct. if anyone know the solution, plz help.
Here is that unwanted code that User getting.
With all do respect, how are we suppose to know where to look.
You should add a watch to your message body and run the program in debug, then make a copy of the body text, and send it to yourself. Then inspect both message body content and compare the two.
Then inspect the message content of the other email with the extra text and make a comparison as well. If the extra html only appears after relaying through the other mail server, then that mail server is injecting the html.
I have the following class code to add support ticket:
MySqlConnection support_sql_connection = null;
MySqlCommand support_sql_command = null;
// MySqlDataAdapter event_log_sql_adapter;// DataTable data_table = null;// MySqlDataReader event_log_sql_reader = null;// MySqlDataReader sql_block_reader = null;// DataSet event_log_data_set = null;publicvoid add_support_ticket(string support_incident_title, string email_address, string support_ticket_description)
support_sql_connection = new MySqlConnection(ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["SQLdb"].ConnectionString);
support_sql_command = new MySqlCommand("sp_add_support_ticket", support_sql_connection);
support_sql_command.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;
support_sql_command.Parameters.Add("param_support_incident_title", MySqlDbType.VarChar).Value = support_incident_title;
support_sql_command.Parameters.Add("param_email_address", MySqlDbType.VarChar).Value = email_address;
support_sql_command.Parameters.Add("param_support_ticket_description", MySqlDbType.Text).Value = support_ticket_description;
int result_rows = support_sql_command.ExecuteNonQuery();
HttpContext.Current.Session["message_title"] = "Thank you";
HttpContext.Current.Session["message_title_Color"] = Color.Blue.ToArgb();
HttpContext.Current.Session["message_text"] = "We have recieved your feedback and we will get back to you as soon as possible.";
HttpContext.Current.Session["message_button_title"] = "Back";
HttpContext.Current.Session["message_button_url"] = "Home.aspx";
if (!HttpContext.Current.Request.Path.EndsWith("Message.aspx", StringComparison.InvariantCultureIgnoreCase))
and I am calling it from the webform like this:
protectedvoid btnSend_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
if (txtMessage.Text == "")
Session["message_title"] = "Error";
Session["message_title_Color"] = Color.Red.ToArgb();
Session["message_text"] = "Please enter your message.";
Session["message_button_title"] = "Back";
Session["message_button_url"] = Request.UrlReferrer.ToString();
create_support_ticket create_support_ticket = new create_support_ticket();
create_support_ticket.add_support_ticket(txtSubject.Text, txtEmailAddress.Text, txtMessage.XHTML);
but I am getting two rows added for every insert! Thsi first row is correct as per the passed information but the second row adding the Session["message_title"] as support_incdent_title and the Session["message_text"] as support_ticket_description and I really don't know how??

We are in the process of developing an inventory tracking system and one part of this system is the automation of the Change of Location (COL) form. We have the database developed; we have the electronic form developed; we are now at a halt because we need this web service inorderto move forward.
1We are in need of a web service to transmit information between Sharepoint and an Infopath form.
2.We will set up your web service as a data connection and work with the form through this connection
