He hasn't done bad enough to get dropped this series, although he's certainly been our least successful frontline batsman. So the selectors may not find it easy to drop him if they wanted to. The negative here is that he may be keeping out a quality youngster which may affect us in the long run. People always assume that if the seniors go away, we will struggle, but look what happened after dropping Sehwag and Gambhir. There’ll always be good players in India. We may not get another Dravid any time soon, but we’ll certainly get enough good players to be in the top-4 among Test teams.
I don't think he will be dropped.
He might decide to step down on his own.
There are 8 months to go before SA and once IPL is over, he will be out of active cricket.
So what will motivate him to get ready for SA?
Plus with so much time before the next series, he might just decide to call it a day in-case he is not ready to wait that long for his next international assignment.
Thank God!! I am finally done with my ICSE exams. Today was the last exam. I am atleast free now for a few weeks. But I still need to study to get into some good school(for the admissions). And yes.. I am also getting my new drums set tomorrow. Thanks to all the CP members who wished me good luck with exams. And now I am to upto progressing with my programming too!
Yes! I am making full use of my break. I even bought my drums set today. So a lot of activity to engage myself in. I really excited. But sadly all my tuition teachers have give in their dates to start studying - from April 1 onwards. Yes, a good way to be April Fool-ed with the 10+2 syllabus!!!
