Presentation: A New IT Plan: Enterprise DevOps PaaS, APIs, and Ecosystems
Today, organizations are implementing open source platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions, APIs, and open ecosystems to accelerate agility and empower developers to enable innovative business strategies. This session will explore how enterprise DevOps PaaS (http://wso2.com/cloud/app-factory/) technologies can increase developer velocity and reduce iteration times, focusing on how open APIs are delivering significant business building blocks. It also will examine the benefit of embracing long tail development communities to optimize business ecosystem strategies. Additionally, the session will provide a pragmatic, open source driven game plan to demonstrate new IT approach vectors. The session is part of the event's "Open Cloud" track, which runs from 4:00-4:50 p.m. on April 29, 2013.

Panel: Opening Up the Cloud
Increasingly, enterprises are moving more workloads to the cloud, both public and private. However, organizations must also address issues around security, lock-in, service level agreements, and more. This panel will bring together leading product marketing and management experts to examine best practices for optimizing cloud adoption (http://wso2.com/cloud/stratos/). As a founder of TIBCO software and inventor of the publish/subscribe paradigm, he helped establish TIBCO as the world’s leading middleware provider. John also started Slam Dunk Networks (now known as Cloud Prime) and Mathon Systems in the DLP space, and he helped CA Technologies move to the cloud and software-as-a-service (SaaS).
Other panelists will include:
• Ram Peddibhotla, director of planning and product marketing at Intel
• Jim Wasko, director of the Linux Technology Center at IBM
• Peter Yared, CTO and CIO of CBS Interactive
