Not only the C#
I have got the same message several times today. Something seems to be pissing the hamsters off in the QA today.
M.D.V.
If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

Yeah, but this question was deleted 4 days ago and is still showing up in the list after multiple refreshes and showing up near the top of the list.

Hi every one
one can participate in the same straw poll over and over again gaining 5 points every time
all you need to do is close the browser and open it again after a little while
|
|
|
|
|
additional: You can also gain another 5 if you vote in the straw poll using the Private Browsing feature of FF.
I don't know if it also applies in incognito of Chrome. I haven't tried yet.
Don't mind those people who say you're not HOT. At least you know you're COOL.

I wanted to merge the tag c#. into C# , but when trying that, I got the error message "unknown failure". I got the same message when trying to merge c#) into C# . However, when trying to merge Charting into Charts , that worked fine.

|
|

The merge code probably doesn't like punctuation in the tags that are being merged. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Typically this is a load issue. I've seen it myself a few times. Merging tags can be crazy expensive.

Clicking on quick answers link keeps displaying posts from around 14 hours ago ... tried it in Chrome and IE11 on Windows 7 Home Premium. The hamsters also made a brief appearance

And some of the ones it brings up aren't there any more: I need help for how we write the script in c# for radius server.[^] is currently at the top of the "unanswered" list.
CTRL+F5 sometimes seems to fix it - but I think that is spurious, because it goes agly again pretty soon.

We're on i.
We've just added some fairly aggressive caching to QA using Lucene and we've just discovered a minor, but important issue. We're looking into it this weekend but it could be Monday before it's fully fixed

I'm not sure, but perhaps it is because it is categorized in the section "Uncategorized Tips and Tricks". If that's the case, the Tip should be moved to another category.

Other tips in that section have fora.

I see. Then I have no idea what caused the problem, but anyway, it's fixed now.

Do you really think a tech site such as CodeProject (actually the best tech site), needs to be told about such things?

I think this happened when the new TODO list was added. As far as I can tell, it has not been reported before.
