I bought a "Sony Ericsson LiveWatch" about 4 years ago, I used it, when exploited for running, music control, messages view..but I realized that at the end, I had to use smartphone ever, so I sold it.
For this reason, I don't buy smartwatch or glasses this year.

I'd say we cannot live comfortably without PC and the Internet.
I'd say smartphone is a boost to our economy and improve our standard of living.
But I'd say by owning smart-glass or smart-watch, my life would be different if have already been using the above items.

I'm a coder. I hate those that encode a function that does more than one thing. So, imagine a watch that is more than being a watch and sunglasses that are more to be glasses ... It is not for me. Also, I have a certain fear to see someone with a smart phone, his smart watch, his smart sunglasses and his bluetooth headset. We are borges. Resistance is futile ...

I don't wear glasses, so they also don't warrant being smart.
Maybe I am just smart enough!

I definitely won't be interested in a smart watch, but smart glasses...
The technology will definitely interest me. I'd try it out first and if I like it I might buy it.

Yet to check those stuffs. Already too many smart devices around and making me dumb day by day. Definitely not this year.

I voted no, but if I had to choose between the 2, I would get a smart watch. They are a companion device to the smartphone and can come in handy in cases where you want to read a text, email, or answer your phone without having to reach into your pocket in situations such as in meetings. Right now the offerings are not very stylish -- it is very obvious you are wearing one. I think they would be better if they looked more like a traditional wristwatch, so you could wear them more discretely.
Smart glasses are just far too impractical for me to take seriously. I wear prescription glasses, so I would either need to wear them all the time, or swap between them. I wouldn't want to have a screen in front of my face 24/7. I'm not even sure if they would technically work for me because my glasses prescription is stronger than the maximum recommendation.
