I guess he made his Blog entry or whatever, then came here made a search of articles speaking about something similar and voted up all of the list, while posting a link to his own apportation. The messages are grouped into date-blocks and link-blocks as well.
Is that something where we (I have been promoted as well) can just nuke all the messages of the list?

Welcome to the club...
We don't get a lot of extras - you can't delete messages or threads - but you can interfere with articles, questions and answers.
So spam in QA I tend to redflag and then immediately delete - as that's a public forum and the shorter it lasts, the value there is to posting it in the first place. Stuff in the moderation queue I tend to just report so others can see it's spam and that the author needs a good kicking. It's a limited forum so it doesn't matter that much. Published spam gets the hammer straight away! 
Annoyingly the extra buttons in the forums (including the BOMB button) do nothing except tell you you aren't authorised to use it...

I see, just tried it out and got the "not allowed" that you mentioned.
Pity, the user in this post has over 200 spam messages in articles that could be managed quite nice
ATM just 4 or 5 reports in the messages of the first page. In the last ones only 2

This[^] members has a blog, but instead linking it to his CP account, he reposts its content as articels - two already got approved and the 3rd is on its way.
I was under the impression that this is not tolerated - any comments?
