Where does it say it ignores that?

You are ignoring it by suggesting that it has anything to do with the study.

Munchies_Matt wrote:
No, crop yields have increased because of science, technology, engineering, CO2 and warmth. ie all factors.

Studies have proven, multiple ones, that "science, technology, engineering" are the cause.

CO2 and warmth have no significant impact.

And I have previously posted the studies that demonstrate that in other threads.

How do we know this? The entire world is ~20% greener since the 1980s. Not just agricultural land.

False causality of course.

Munchies_Matt wrote:
Of course not, crops dont feed people, they are used to make space ships and furniture, how silly of me /sarcasm

You are apparently unaware of the number of studies that demonstrate that economics, not food, are the sources of all starvation since 1900.

Every farmer on earth has access to technology, it depends largely on their ability to organise themselves though

Marginal farmers in war zones can't afford, do not have access to tractors and other modern technology tools. And many of those things even if they could buy them would be stolen or destroyed shortly. And basically that is true for poor areas even without war.

And that doesn't even account for zones that are farmed but are marginal in of themselves due to soil and lack or uncertain precipitation. A farmer cannot buy a tractor, run miles of piping, buy fuel for a generator and buy the generator and pumping station when the crops are barely enough to feed the family.

If you take the case of Zimbabwe this is clear. It was a productive country, but soon drove itself into starvation and crisis due to the destruction and break up of their modern farming system.

And you are claiming that CO2 was the cause of that?
