People take their Macs to an Apple store.
On the other hand, the screen of my son's Asus was acting flakey. He took it to a repair shop that had good Yelp reviews. Few months later and it's worse than it was before.)

Apple has the might "command" button. It often looks like a propeller.
And a "control" and "alt" button for which the tough Apple-guys are knowing a lot short-cut commands

Perhaps the fact that users are prevented from upgrading their over-priced shiny wonder is a factor ?
And, how about average cost of repair, rather than frequency ? And, breaking out hardware repairs from software/OS repair/restore/re-install ?

Maybe they are referring to the 1 year life-span of their laptops where they try to compel you to upgrade to the latest and greatest version before your current one starts exhibiting issues.
