Only two so far, and missing some of the good PowerToys I vaguely remember. Maybe it will go somewhere?

All those engineers are probably retired, testing is being relegated to the users in Windows 10

Still remembering last year, he wanted to reopen Google office in China and then backed off at the last minute due to employee protests. In China, for all companies, data has to be stored within the country making them fully accessible to the communist government which does not have a great human rights record.
This person truly has no credibility.

I do have a PhD, but this is still bollocks.
Fractal NNs were always an idea, and were always best left as just an idea.
It's hard enough to predict what an NN will come up with (and if you can't predict it, it's very probably wrong), so saying that a "sub-NN" will do anything useful at all is a -- and I can't emphasise this enough -- A F***ING, BLOODY, MINDLESS, STUPID THING TO SAY!
So ms, apple, google, and law-enforcement agencies will love it to death!

Not that it isn't cool, but couldn't they make the core changes necessary to Windows code, and then let you add the package for the full subsystem from the MS store if you wanted? This '64 Gig disk space needed to update' is getting ridiculous, and I don't foresee using Linux on my machine. (Or Candy Crush, or any of the other stuff they are pushing on us for that matter. Heck, I haven't even played Solitaire in years.)

From the article ^. The sentences give me the impression the kernel will add something to the main installer. Don't know how much, or if it is possible to plug that kernel in later. But it isn't something I'll use.
