Apart from the fact that the code you've posted won't compile, and the fact that you haven't actually described a problem, you're storing passwords in plain text. Don't do that.

And why are you re-inventing the wheel? ASP.NET has several perfectly good authentication systems built-in - for example, ASP.NET Identity[^]
