Microsoft says the update will offer “performance improvements, enterprise features, and quality enhancements” for Windows 10, and that it’s currently targeting a September release.

Especially for those who have turned off Windows Update

I just installed 1903 on my main machine at home and after 1+hours of the percentage installing showing 27% the update completed.
I was excited until I discovered that my ethernet adapter was no longer connecting to the interwebs.
I updated the driver and tried a bunch of things then I decided to just switch the modem on and off again which fixed the connection issues.

I mean, the predictions about the death of the mainframe, when the PC came out, were absolutely correct.

As were the predictions about the death of the desktop PC, when laptops came out.

And also the death of the laptop, when tablets came out.
