good luck, keep at it.
Our infrastructure is OK, brought work PC home, VPN is working ok for remote resources.
Everything is a little bit slower, but I feel I'm more efficient.
I'd rather be phishing!

Now on day 5. The Seniors at my place seem to think it's a good idea to do a daily update webcast. Not surprisingly, with all of us working from home, bandwidth tanks and many of us are either unable to connect or suffering massive latency problems.
Maybe send an email guys? Or share an update on Teams?

I used to work at home on a 300 baud dial-up that was thankfully soon upgraded to 1200 baud. This was in the late '80s, and it seemed fast at the time!
It sounds like things have regressed. 
EDIT: And best of all, you couldn't be disturbed by phone calls while working! Unless you forgot to disable call waiting.

Had I started reporting my daily activities since I started working from home, I would have been told a long time ago to move this to a dedicated blog. I haven't done the calculation, so including holidays and weekends, I'd be on day 4380 or so. Plus a few more months. And a few February 29ths.
And I wouldn't change it for the world.
After that much time, you'd think connectivity issues would've been resolved. Our VPN died a few months ago and nobody bothered to bring it back. Source control and some shared test VMs are now on Azure.

Day 8,760 here (just under 25 years). No problems so far. 
Well, there was a day about 17 years ago when workmen next door brought the phone line down; went to another neighbour to work for a couple of hours. Other than that - even initially when still using a dial-up modem! - it's genuinely been pretty straightforward. Plus three iterations of cats have enjoyed having me around, together with one iteration of wife and two of kids. Am around to bring the washing in if it rains and never have to take time off work to "wait in" for deliveries.
(Actually before the most recent regular 25 years, I did have probs with home working when doing overnight support on mainframe batch jobs; debugging a core dump over a 300baud portable teletype was definitely a pain. But not as much as the night I gave up, cycled into work, and nearly got arrested when police saw a dim glow and shadowy figure in an upstairs office at 3am...)
Sorry, not trying to make light of your problems - hope things get resolved soon

This weeks SOTW is so obscure I couldn't even find it on YouTube
I found it on Bandcamp, but it's on Spotify too, so I guess it isn't that obscure...
Anyway, it's calming ambient music inspired by Skyrim.
It could've been Skyrims soundtrack and I found myself wanting to revisit Skyrim when listening to this.
I love Skyrims soundtrack though, so I love this as well.
Hopefully it'll bring you some rest in these weird times as well

Still under the kitchen
She comes out at night to eat, even when I'm sitting on the couch at a safe distance.
So at least I see her almost daily now, if only for a few minutes.
Two nights ago she even came from under the kitchen just to look at me for five to ten minutes straight
Last week I let the door open and she ventured into the attic, which didn't end well for her because I found her (with a cobweb on her face) and took this hella cute picture[^]
She eats, drinks and uses the litter box, so she's fine physically.
She also doesn't seem stressed or scared anymore, just shy and careful.
Her warranty ends today so she's stuck with me now

Very relaxing. Here's a new find (although it isn't very new, but the video does compete with another favorite already shared), and an old classic.
I think I've already shared this cat advise as well, but if not, one thing to do is just stand next to them when they eat. Often, they will let you pet them at that time. Evidently it satisfies their pack instinct, and puts them at ease.
Kit Kat is still very unsocial, but when I come in from walking Sophie she likes it if I scoop up some food out of her dish, sit on the couch, and let her eat from my hand. She will sometimes sit with us on the couch, but if I pet her too much then, she will take off to get away from all the attention.

Do you leave the food dish out all day? If so, maybe put it in the cupboard until designated feeding times, and put it back up after those times. Kit Kat gives me attention if there's no food out. Since I usually leave it out, that means when her bowel is empty.

Thanks to the help I received here I have setup a repo and know how to commit / sync push to Github from VS. Possible my last question is ? Once I've commited and pushed the project to GH from machine one , should I clone it every time I open the project on machine two ? or just sync it if I have it already checked out. My thinking is, I should sync it if it is already cloned to machine two , or clone it if it isn't. Thanks chaps.
