In the UK (and by the look of Raddevus' post, the USA too) the terms "Rocket science" and "Brain surgery" are both synonymous for something that is exceptionally complex or requires genius-level skills to do. Phrases like "It ain't rocket science" or "You hardly need to be a brain surgeon" are used for something that really isn't difficult, whilst "You'd need a degree in rocket science" implies something is very tricky or unintelligible to mere mortals. The subject area is irrelevant in either case. Smile | :)
