Floating Point Number errors can sink your app with issues[^]
I know it is a blog, but contains what for me is more links to the own site than it should: it was posted first in... repeated, visit our home page, "sign up our newsletter" (not a link though)
Additionally links to his own book in Amazon (not for free), not enough with the link there per se, it contains Amazon flags I suppose are for affiliate links so he wins a bit more too if people buy it while following one of those. Not sure about this, I know that they exist and to reach the book would be enough with the .../dp/xxxxxx/ without the rest behind the "?".
The paragraph with links is almost bigger than the rest of the post.
Maybe worth to educate him a bit (and have a look to his previous publications)?
Or should I post this in the other forum?
EDIT:
His other blog[^] contains "external redirection" links to msdn going through "mdsol.jiveon.com/external-link.jspa?" first. And they are broken not even 2 months after publication?

I'm also not keen on the "affiliate links" towards the bottom of his posts.
I know it's a blog, so the rules are a little different. But to me, those push the posts into the realm of "spam".

No editor is going to let his links through anymore.
I agree it's a little suspicious, but authors who share their blog don't come to CodeProject and edit blog entries that come in. They share their blog, turn it on, and look away. If we expect them to act differently, the only logistical option would be to disallow blog sharing entirely. They simply will not edit their entries.

I can see that, but still... specially the "affiliation" and the youtube links where money is involved.
Do you want to put money links? For me ok, write them in your original Blog AFTER it has been fed here (or would it re-upgrade itself after some changes there?)
For me is the same that those guys that fed items where you needed the sun glasses... once OK, twice Mmmhhh OK, third time "knock knock... all neurons in the correct place?", fourth time "blog entry deletion"

Hi,
the article should be an experience report on a helpful tool when working with databases and no spam. As mentioned in the article, there are no good open source tools in this segment. Many developer products are commercial and you want to know how to use them, for example Visual Studio (Microsoft), Rider (JetBrains). There are also articles about this tools on codeproject. I can't understand.

The tool your article was promoting is a commercial product. It costs money. Therefore, your article was spam.
The existence of a limited "free" tier does not exempt the product from these rules.

I'm working on an update for an article.
The field "Briefly comment on what was changed"
can be filled out and the draft can be saved.
Next time I open the draft the field with the notes what has been changed is always empty.

Approval is usually done by people not software.
You should have received an email with the reason why the article was not published.

I think the article was lost during the approval process. I didn't receive any emails, which makes sense because the article is gone.
When the [Article:5351556] link is clicked, it shows:
