I have a looong list of deceptions and non fullfilled new year resolutions behind me, so I decided to change the game a bit.
I now try to live my life as good as I can and do the best I can every day and, only because the calender says it is a new year after sleeping just one night, I am not going to change it anymore.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

I resolve not to even boot up the POS laptop a certain company insists I have, not to log onto their network nor take mandatory mindless training, especially since I am only under contract with them for six hours a week.
This was my resolution last year, and for once I kept my resolution. So why stop now?

No one continues with them after January 15th. I include myself in that number.

If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs, perhaps you don't understand the situation.

Dual 1080p sounds about right, both in the office and at home, and ignoring that 15" 4K piece of crap that is bolted to the laptop

It's pretty pathetic that a certified rifle and pistol instructor hasn't had time to visit the shooting range for two years, other than to renew his membership. This year I plan to spend a few hours each month perfecting what I'm supposed to be teaching.

We're allowed at the range? Damn. I missed something somewhere...
Probably still should install my new sights. AI lied to me.
Target missed...

Members only, of course, and I like to be there when there's no one else around. That way there's no need to call a Cease Fire to check my targets.

Small range? My children go to one that has over 10 clubs, and there is always someone there on one of their 3 ranges.

The local one is small - a pistol range, a rifle range - each with room for about 20 active shooters - and a shotgun range with 6 or 7 skeet/trap stations. The other one is further down the road, but is quite large and has a resident RSO who actually lives on the property. The big one has multiple rifle and pistol ranges, about 10 skeet/trap ranges, 1000yd and 500m rifle ranges, an archery range, black powder range, and a sporting clays walkabout trail. Oddly, the big one is cheapest, at $35 a year, while the smaller one is $60 per year. Go figure...

Don't want to rush into things. Hasn't it been said to finish what you started?
It was broke, so I fixed it.

I still have resolutions to keep from 2016.

Finish all I've started.

Is resolving to not make resolutions a resolution if one ignores it - and if so, need one ignore it since it is not to be pursued - and hence allowing one to make resolutions and this it becomes, again valid and self annihilating?
Perhaps I just ought to keep away from thinking about whether I should think about recursion?

I think you should put that off for another year.

Could it be that I'm just perfectly satisfied with myself and my life?
Maybe I should become a life coach?

Not satisfied; I'll continue to try to improve as a person.
But, I don't need the Earth passing through an arbitrary point in spacetime to start doing that.
