Hi. I'm building a program: when each time I rotated the rotary switch, the result will be displayed on the LCD, and the GSM will send an SMS to my android. The project ran successfully. The question is: is it possible to change the phone number to another one by sending an SMS to the GSM, for example "change number to 0123456789", and what code should be used. I'm using CCS PIC-C compiler. Please advice. Thank you.

Depends on which phone number you mean.
If you mean "change the phone number it sends an SMS to" then yes - just substitute the new number in the AT+CMGS command.

If you mean "change the phone number the SMS is sent from" then AFAIK you can't - that would be "spoofing" and is not possible.

You mean you want to change the phone number of your phone? Not possible. You'd have to change out the SIM card for that.

That was my immediate feeling as well, but...he can't mean that, can he?

Sorry?
I'm not sure what you mean by that.
Can you explain in more words / better detail?
Remember that we can't see your screen, access your HDD, or read your mind

I want to change my phone number (phone A) used in the program to another number (phone B) by sending an SMS from phone A.
