I have an ASP.NET MVC 4 application compiled on framework 4.5 and running perfectly on localhost iis on my machine.
When i try to host same application on Windows Server 2012 having IIS 8.0, it shows following error -

HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found
The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.

Most likely causes:
The request matched a wildcard mime map. The request is mapped to the static file handler. If there were different pre-conditions, the request will map to a different handler.

The application pool have .net framework 4.0 and pipeline mode integrated.
I have already used following options to fix the issue...

1. I have checked that the .net framework 4.5 is installed in machine and "HttpActivation" and also selected in WCF Services under .Net Framework 4.5 Features installed.

2. Tried following command in command prompt by using "Run as Administrator"
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319>aspnet_regiis -i

3. Used following code in web.config under system.webserver
<modules runallmanagedmodulesforallrequests="true"></modules>

But all the above not worked for me.

Can anyone suggest me what is missing at my end?
