Hi there,

Please help me with table width setting.

I used a table to put a banner on my website and I set the banner width to 100% so that it can be touching both side of my table.
I also set the table width to 100% but when I compile and run my site the table does not exactly touch the extreme side end of my browser.

Instead there is a small space left on both sides, which I don't want.
Please tell me how can I go about changing this?

Please visit this site to see the results I would like to achieve: http://www.mak.ac.ug

Thanks in advance
Yours faithfully

Martin

Edited for Grammar and Readability.

If you found a site that does what you want, why not look at the source and copy it ?

Reason for my vote of 5
thats the way i've learnt most of my html / css skills
Why use a table for a banner?
Would not a DIV be better?

There is more control, and it is the more modern approach.
